Privacy Policy

Effective July 29, 2026

EggBasket is built so that we cannot see your data.

What we collect

Nothing. EggBasket has no accounts, no logins, no analytics, no ads, no tracking, and no servers of ours. We never see your eggs, flocks, hens, expenses, photos, or anything else you enter. On the App Store this is declared as "Data Not Collected."

Where your data lives

Notifications

The evening reminder ("How many eggs tonight?") is off by default. If you turn it on, it is scheduled locally on your device. Nothing is sent to anyone.

Photos

Photo notes on your hens use Apple's system photo picker, which runs outside the app: EggBasket receives only the photos you explicitly choose and can never browse your photo library. Chosen photos are stored with the rest of your flock data — on your device, and in your private iCloud if sync is on. Share cards go out through the standard iOS share sheet, which you control.

Purchases

The optional lifetime unlock is processed entirely by Apple. We receive no payment details. See Apple's privacy policy for how Apple handles purchases.

Third parties

There are none. EggBasket contains no third-party SDKs, ad networks, or analytics of any kind.

Children

EggBasket is a flock-keeping tool and is not directed at children. It collects no data from anyone, including children.

Data deletion

Delete the app and your local data is gone. To also remove synced data, delete EggBasket's data in iOS Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Account Storage. Because we hold nothing, there is nothing for you to request from us — deletion is entirely in your hands.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the update will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
