Count tonight's eggs. Lock up the coop.
EggBasket is the egg counter that never asks for a login. Tap tonight's eggs into the nest before you lock up — ten seconds, done — and always know what your backyard eggs really cost.
You lock up. EggBasket does the chicken math.
Your first flock — up to six hens — includes every feature · Your records stay countable and exportable even if you never buy · CSV export, always.
One tap per egg
The week, by the carton
Feed and supplies ÷ eggs collected. Stated once, deadpan. EggBasket keeps this math every night you tap the count in.
Sunday morning$0.45/egg
Know what each egg really costs
EggBasket divides what you've spent by every egg collected — your honest cost per egg, front and center on the Stats tab. Watch it fall as the girls hit their stride, and see the day the coop pays for itself.
Below it: the carton wall — your last 12 months of laying, egg by egg — plus streaks and a 14-day lay chart.

Feed-store runLogged in seconds
The feed run, off your mind
Log feed, bedding and supplies as you buy them — a line each, done in seconds. That's the whole bookkeeping habit; the cost-per-egg math takes care of itself.

Any morningThe girls
Every hen, on the roster
Names, breeds, and when each hen started laying — with per-hen weekly averages so you know who's earning her feed.
When you lose a hen, archive her: she leaves the roster, her eggs stay in your records. The history never lies.

Next springNew phone, same flock
Records that outlive the phone
Years of laying history deserve better than an app that loses them. EggBasket is built so your records survive — three ways, all included.
Your own iCloud
Private sync through your personal iCloud — no account to create, and technically invisible to us. New phone, same flock.
Backup files
One tap writes a backup file you keep anywhere — Files, iCloud Drive, email to yourself. Restore merges safely and never duplicates.
CSV, always
Export every egg and every expense as a spreadsheet, any time, whether or not you ever buy anything. Your records are portable from day one.
Every nightNobody watching
Your coop is your business.
EggBasket is built so we cannot see your data — there is nothing to breach, sell, or lose on our end, because there is no "our end." On the App Store that reads simply: Data Not Collected.
Molting seasonStill counts
Built for real coops
Zeros still count: molting season mode logs the empty nights honestly and the streak never punishes the girls. An optional evening nudge asks "How many eggs tonight?" — one quiet notification, off by default.
No husbandry advice, no verdicts on your spending — cost per egg is a fact, stated once.
All of it, included

A one-person business
Hi — I'm Shakti. I built EggBasket because I was tired of apps that put a login between you and your own chickens. It has no investors, no growth team, and no ads to sell.
You pay once if the girls outgrow the free flock, I never see your numbers, and your records stay countable and exportable either way. That's the whole business model: build a tool coop keepers keep, charge for it once, keep it working.

Fair questions
Is my flock's data really private?
Yes — structurally, not just by promise. EggBasket has no accounts, no analytics, and no servers of ours. Your records live on your phone and, if you turn sync on, in your own private iCloud, which is tied to your Apple Account and technically inaccessible to us. On the App Store that reads simply: Data Not Collected.
What's included without paying?
Your first flock — up to six hens — includes every feature, nothing held back: logging, stats, share cards, the evening reminder, iCloud sync, backup and CSV export. A single one-time unlock adds unlimited flocks and hens, Insights, and photo notes on every hen — no subscription, ever.
How does EggBasket work out cost per egg?

What happens in molting season?
Zeros still count. Molting season mode means empty nights log like any other and the streak never punishes the girls — your records stay honest through the slow months.
What happens when I lose a hen?
Archive her. She leaves the roster, but her eggs stay in your records — the history never lies.
New phone — do I pay again?
No. The unlock is tied to your Apple Account: tap Restore Purchases on the new phone and you're in. Your records follow via your private iCloud or a backup file.
